What paper weight does SeQeS use?

Every A5 journal uses 160gsm paper. That is roughly twice the weight of standard notebook paper, so fountain pens, gel pens and highlighters do not bleed through to the back of the page.

Will fountain pen ink bleed through?

On 160gsm paper a fine nib does not bleed and a wet broad nib shows only light ghosting. Alcohol markers will eventually soak any uncoated paper, so use a blotter sheet for heavy marker work.

How many pages does a journal have?

160 numbered pages, which is 80 sheets. The dot grid is 5mm.

Does the journal lie flat?

Yes. The PU hardcover is bound so the pages open flat at any point in the book, including the first and last spreads.

How long does shipping take?

U.S. orders ship from our U.S. warehouse, usually within 24 hours, and typically arrive in 3–4 days. Shipping is free. For other countries, email us before ordering so we can confirm delivery times.

What is your return policy?

30 days from delivery. If a journal arrives damaged or is not what you expected, email us and we will arrange a return or replacement. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.

Where are SeQeS journals made?

We design every cover in-house and produce the journals with our own team in Zhejiang, China.

Can I review a journal after buying?

Yes — verified buyers receive an email about a week after delivery with a link to leave a review. We read every one.
